About Us

Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley is all about transforming lives.

The shelter exists in Youngstown, Ohio to help anyone who needs Food, Shelter, Safety and a Second Chance.

The people we serve in our emergency shelter come from all walks of life and all economic backgrounds. In the last ten years, we’ve served over 1,300,000 meals to those in need. But this is just the beginning of our work. We offer not just help for today, but hope for tomorrow.

We house, feed, counsel and educate hundreds each year through our residential programs, enabling them to get back on their feet and become productive again. We help people to improve their lives and ultimately, our community.

The Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley stands ready to ENABLE, ENCOURAGE and EQUIP with:
